We began our day visiting the ruins of Cana, viewing a stone jar supposedly from the time of Christ, where Mary instructed the servants at the wedding to "Do whatever he tells you."
Father Larry and we pilgrims celebrated a beautiful Holy Mass where three of our couple pilgrims renewed their wedding vows.
Late afternoon, the last stop was Mt. Tabor, where Jesus was transfigured (Luke 9: 28-36). We ascended Mt. Tabor by taxi to visit the Basilica of Transfiguration at the summit. We were also amazed by the magnificent view across the plain of Jezreel and Nazareth from atop the mountain.
